A simple plastic box, olive drab, black painted embossed letters that say; NSN 6545-00-922-1200 / First Aid Kit / General Purpose. There is also a white square containing a red cross to the right, inside label and instructions. This first aid kit is typically mounted in a vehicle for emergency use by the vehicle crew and passangers. The box has a tight fitting lid with waterproof seal. The paratrooper uniform is very distinct. It was designed with bellow pockets so troops could carry extra items on their person and were held closed by heavy snaps so the items carried could not be torn away when exiting the plane. Coat, Parachute Jumper, M1942, Trousers, Parachute Jumper, M1942, Boots, Parachutist, Russet.
